Pinter on Beckett. Incredible dramatic reading of the end of Beckett’s novel (Malone Dies?)

Molly Bloom’s Soliloquy (Ulysses 18: Penelope) James Joyce

Beckett – what can you say?

Angels in America. Al Pacino as Roy Cohn – the diagnosis scene.  Roy Cohn arguing his most important case. Great, great scene I watch over and over. Dramatic writing, and acting, at its finest.

Excerpt from Peter Hall’s 1973 film of Pinter’s play The Homecoming. “Glass of Water.” What incredible tension, with few words, in this scene. I will show you fear, loathing, domination, submission, and danger in a glass of water.
